Kim Scott is the author of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller Radical Candor: Be a Kickass Boss without Losing your Humanity and the co-founder of Radical Candor LLC. Kim has been a CEO coach at Dropbox, Qualtrics, Twitter and several other tech companies. She received her MBA from Harvard Business School and her BA from Princeton University. The author of three novels, she and her husband Andy Scott are parents of twins and live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Executive Director, Second City Works
Kelly Leonard is the executive director of insights and applied improvisation at Second City Works. He is also the author of the book, Yes, And: Lessons from The Second City, host of the podcast Getting to Yes, And, and a popular speaker on the power of improvisation to transform people’s lives. Kelly looks at behavioral science through the lens of improv. For 20 years, he helped generate original productions with such talent as Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Amy Poehler, Seth Meyers, Steve Carell and others.

Jason Rosoff has a passion for building products and teams that scale, and believes teaching people to be better leaders is at the core of building anything great. Prior to Radical Candor, Jason spent seven years scaling Khan Academy from four people to hundreds as both chief people officer and chief product officer. Working in partnership with The Gates Foundation and Google, he helped Khan Academy improve educational outcomes for more than 100 million students and teachers worldwide.

Steve Johnston brings more than 20 years’ worth of fearless, customer-driven business acumen to The Second City, Inc., where he has spent the last 13 years of his career and was named president in 2016. In his current role as president and managing partner, Steve strives to create inclusive opportunities for people everywhere to become part of the ensemble, discovering the unique value and impact that comedy and improvisational methods can have on personal and professional lives, as well as society at large.

Amy Sandler has shared Radical Candor around the world, from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies, across many industries. An executive coach, corporate mindfulness trainer and professional speaker, Amy has more than 20 years of experience in senior marketing roles including YPO, Vistage and UCLA. She has an AB and MBA from Harvard University, an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA and is a certified teacher of the Search Inside Yourself leadership program developed at Google.
VP of Client Services and Production, Second City Works
Elizabeth Howard is responsible for managing key accounts and strategically crafting live and digital content from creation to delivery at Second City Works. Highly skilled in field production, production management, account management and business development, she has an M.Ed in secondary education and an MFA in media and performance arts from DePaul University.
Director of Marketing, Second City Works
Jenny Crowley is director of marketing at Second City Works, and has refined the brand’s iconic voice to build brand awareness, develop integrated partnerships, and create engaging, relatable and funny content. She takes improv classes at The Second City and can speak firsthand to the transformative power of improv on personal growth and professional development. Previously, Jenny worked at The Onion as well as in the bicycle and organic food industries in brand management.

As a program administrator with more than 10 years of experience designing and managing educational and training programs, Nora Wilcox has spent the majority of her career in the non-profit arts where she has helped organizations successfully scale their offerings, build cohesive and effective teams, and develop operational strategy for growth. Prior to joining Radical Candor, Nora was the associate director of education for the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival.

Bumper Carroll has more than 20 years experience developing unique creative solutions for marketing and communications challenges for top-tier clients. He is married to the funniest person in the world (fellow SC alum Jen Bills), has the two funniest kids in the world (Stella & Rosemary) and the two funniest animals in the world (Frida the Dog & Mello the Cat). His house is not the funniest house in the world, but it is taking improv classes so there’s hope.

A professional writer, editor, storyteller and content strategist with more than 15 years of experience, Brandi Neal is the director of content for Radical Candor. In one of her previous jobs, she worked as a web development copywriter and a script writer at L.L.Bean where she wrote and starred in product videos, including an instructional skiing video even though she does not know how to ski. A former daily newspaper reporter, Brandi has a BA in journalism from the University of Toledo and an MFA in nonfiction from Stonecoast at the University of Southern Maine.
